“Our Goals & Process — Cinematic Kansas City Wedding Videography & Photography”

What to Expect on Your Wedding Day.

Our promise

We create wedding films and photos you’ll relive for a lifetime—cinematic, warm-and-moody, glow warm bright, and true to who you are. Our goal is to keep everything simple, organized, and stress-free while crafting a story that feels like a movie: thoughtful composition, rich emotion, and timeless color.

How we’ll work together (at a glance)

  1. Meet & plan → align on vision, must-have moments, and a realistic timeline

  2. Prepare → vendor coordination, shot plan, music + mood references

  3. Film & photograph → calm, unobtrusive coverage with clear direction when needed

  4. Edit & color → cinematic story, tasteful film-look grain, licensed music, clean audio

  5. Deliver → easy-to-view gallery and streaming links, with options (add ons) for teasers, timeline of delivery and reels

Discovery & Planning

Our first step is a call, video call or in-person meet to thoroughly plan your wedding video and photo coverage. Effective planning is everything—we’ll outline the elements you want, review your wedding timeline, and, if you don’t have one yet, we’ll build a videography-friendly timeline for you.

What we’ll cover:

  • Your story & vibe: warm/glowy, cinematic, documentary, editorial—what feels like you

  • Must-have moments: letters for voice over, first looks, vows, dances, family traditions, cultural elements and toast - capture audio

  • Timeline help: we’ll propose blocks for getting-ready, first look, portraits, sunset/golden hour, and reception

  • Music & mood board: we will match the right song for the wedding mood OR if you have specific mood, feel free to let us know

  • Questions list: jot notes before our call—ideas, concerns, or special requests—and we’ll go through each one

Pre-Wedding Preparation

Behind the scenes we will:

  • Coordinate with your planner/photographer/videographer team, DJ, and officiant

  • Scout key locations (or review photos/video of them) and plan lensing/angles

  • Prep audio (lav mics, recorders) and backup gear

  • Build a shot plan (not a rigid script) to ensure we capture everything you care about without interrupting the flow of the day
